BROOKLYN, NY — After trying to order a glass of Bartenura Moscato after her wedding reception, 19-year-old bride-to-be Sarah Dayan was asked by the bartender on site to see her ID.
“I may not be technically of age, but come on,” said Dayan. “If I’m mature enough to make a decision that will alter the course of my life and tie me to this man my dad chose ‘til death do us part, I’m mature enough to have some booze.”
Rudy Malone, the bartender hired by the catering company servicing the wedding, claims he was just doing his job. “Dude, she looks like she’s twelve, of course I’m gonna card her.”
At press time, Dayan’s new husband, 29-year-old physician Josh Pardes, was seen buying a drink for his wife.
